Audit Senior Job Vacancy

This UK Top 50 firm of accountants is on the hunt for a talented Audit Senior in Leeds to support the busy audit department in the provision and supervision of the full suite of external audit services at their thriving firm.

We're searching for a team player and a talented all rounder who has a good base level of experience in all aspects of audits from planning to completion and who can overcome queries that arise in a large portfolio with experience of working in a UK public practice accountancy firm.

Suited to someone who is technically competent and a confident communicator and who has some experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff, the successful candidate will work closely with clients to oversee audit projects for a diverse portfolio as part of a newly formed team in the Leeds office of this firm, hybrid working is potentially an option for the right candidate. Continued professional development comes as standard.

Job Purpose

  • The provision of audit services from planning to completion.
  • Support and mentor the team in respect of processes relevant to audit.
  • Analytical detail, technical acumen and risk comprehension.
  • Client relationship skills.
  • Team leader; coaching and mentoring staff.
  • Overseeing WIP and deadlines.
  • Support the Managers and Partners with the running of the payroll department.
