We have a unique opportunity for a Business Accountant to join Northpoint. This role will involve working in our Leeds and Calderdale offices to provide management information and business partnering to support our growth ambitions.?You will join us on a permanent contract term and in return, you will receive a competitive salary.

What you will be doing as our Business Accountant:

The aim of the Business Accountant role is to provide key management information and business partnering to senior management to support them in winning new contracts and expanding or retaining existing contracts. This role will also lead on preparation of annual budgets, management accounts and forecasts.

What are we looking for in our ideal Business Accountant:

  • Hold a CIMA, ACA, or ACCA (Association of Certified Chartered Accountants) (or equivalent) qualification
  • Demonstrate significant business partnering experience
  • Offer experience in leading annual budget setting processes
  • Demonstrate highly proficient Excel skills including well-structured financial modelling
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to research, analyse and interpret complex data
  • Excellent technical understanding of large-scale IT infrastructure and information systems
  • Sound understanding of change management
  • Able to convey complex technical detail to non-technical colleagues
  • A proven ability to influence senior leaders and commissioners
