Client Management Accountant:This growing business process outsourcing company is looking for a client facing, qualified Management Accountant to join their team in Leeds. Employment Details:
  • Full Time / Permanent role (flexible working options).
  • £40,000-£50,000 per annum, based on experience.
  • Extra earning (£) potential for onboarding new clients.
  • Leeds City Centre based office.
  • 3 days office based / 2 days home working (if required).

 The Opportunity: If you like variety in your work, this Client Management Accountant role is just that! This BPO company provides bespoke bookkeeping and financial management services to organisations across the UK. As a Client Management Accountant, in addition to preparing management accounts, this role will also involve meeting with new clients, preparing proposals, managing client relationships and providing insight to existing clients. You will be qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) or qualified by experience and must be just as happy communicating with clients as you are with producing and analysing accounts. With being part of a small team, you will be happy to pitch in with bookkeeping from time to time and be comfortable in managing your time and working independently. If you are looking to work in a relaxed and friendly working environment for a company with a great ethos, then this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.  Key Responsibilities:
  • Working closely with clients to understand their requirements, support emergent issues, and identify opportunities to extend service provision.
  • Engaging and building relationships with clients, forming trust and ensuring a full 360° service is provided.
  • Meeting with potential clients and providing information on the company’s services and how they benefit.
  • Preparing and following up on new client proposals and finalising contracts to assist with business growth.
  • Arranging regular meetings with clients and undertaking service reviews.
  • Acting as a conduit between clients and operational staff, ensuring client requirements are communicated clearly and effectively.
  • Providing administrative support to clients, including contacting suppliers and customers when required.
  • Delivering budget reporting to clients and reviewing management accounts, providing insight and commentary when appropriate.
  • Ensuring reports are sent to clients in a timely and regular manner, following up to ensure queries are dealt with efficiently.
 Key Qualifications & Skills:
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) or qualified by experience.
  • Operational finance knowledge, including monthly management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow reporting.
  • Experience of working within an accounting role in the UK and have good understanding of HMRC responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop productive relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Can work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly and professional manner.
  • A solution finder, capable of effectively working through problems.
