- Costs Management: Calculate payments on account of costs and coordinate with Fee Earners and the Head of Funding.
- Costs Recovery: Assist in calculating and recovering fixed costs and disbursements from the paying party.
- Third-Party Payments: Manage payments to third parties, including medical experts, agencies, and barristers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- File Management: Oversee file closure and handle write-offs to maintain an organized system.
- Insurance Claims: Manage claims on insurance policies, including assisting with negotiations on disputed claims for successful resolutions.
- Data Collation: Collect data related to insurance claims to ensure accurate reporting.
- Billing: Manage the billing of costs upon receipt to ensure smooth financial transactions.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to ongoing improvements in the costs administration process within the Clinical Negligence department.
- Additional Duties: Take on any other responsibilities required to support the success of the team.
- Previous experience in a costs-related role (or similar)

- Strong numerical and organizational skills, with experience using Microsoft Office
