Sewell Wallis are working with a well-known retailer in Leeds who are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their team ASAP on a temporary basis to cover employee absence.

They are a well respected company are very well known at ensuring strong relationships are built between their clients.

The assignment is expected to last for a few weeks, but has high potential to extend, and gives the successful person a great opportunity to gain exposure of working in a busy and fast-paced environment.

What will you be doing?

  • Managing a busy ledger.
  • Making sure debts from clients and customers are paid within terms agreed.
  • Supporting the manager with audit requests.
  • Provide account information to external department.
  • Resolve queries both internally and externally.
  • Working closely with the sales team.

What skills are we looking for?

  • Strong experience in Credit Control.
  • Experience of using Excel.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure on collection days.
  • Have a great attention to detail.
  • Familiar with accounts procedures, client ledgers, disbursements and office accounts.
