- The gig: We're after a qualified accountant to be our financial grown-up. Someone who can translate numbers into actual business decisions without putting everyone to sleep in the process.
- It would be great if you understand the education sector's funding and policy frameworks
- Hold a CCAB qualification (because we need someone who's suffered through professional exams) so that will be ACA or CIMA or CIPFA of ACCA
- Have a proven track record in strategic financial planning (i.e., you've successfully told senior people "no" without getting fired)
- Possess advanced Excel skills (we're talking vlookups in your sleep)
- Translate financial gibberish into English that normal humans understand
- Meet impossible deadlines while maintaining frightening attention to detail
- Juggle multiple priorities without having a nervous breakdown
