Financial Accountant - Remote

Remote Based

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join a Financial Accounting team for a multi-national organisation. This role involves supporting the Financial Controller in preparing management accounts, handling IFRS 16 lease accounting, managing intercompany loans, and reconciling inter-company balances. This position offers a great opportunity to engage with various internal and external stakeholders and contribute significantly to the financial processes.

Overview of the role:

Prepare UK management accounts and analyse variances.
Prepare budget and forecast information for UK costs and IFRS 16 lease accounting.
Conduct month-end reporting, including enrichment and continuity schedules.
Assist with the monthly inter-company reconciliation process.
Prepare analysis and reports for Tax, Treasury, and Sector Finance departments.

Your profile:

Qualified in a recognised professional accountancy qualification.
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including use and set-up of Pivot tables and formulas.
Experience with an accounting software package, ideally Oracle.
Sound analytical skills and organised work ethic.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
