My client is a leading consumer goods/FMCG business based in Leeds.

Description

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for:

Reporting:

Monthly and Quarterly Management Account preparation
CashFlow and Capex Reporting
Presentingfinancial information to a range of stakeholders
Preparationof Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
MonthlyBalance Sheet reconciliation reviews and challenging teams on accounting treatment
Workeffectively using financial systems such as Oracle
Workingclosely with external auditors to provide detailed and sufficient information in a timely
manner

Business Partnering

Providing guidance, support and challenge around commercial decisions
Budgeting & Forecasting
Act as key contact for wider finance related queries
Provide commentary around performance, ensuring action plans and proposals are backed by data
Business case development and sign off support
P&L reviews
Aged debt management

Profile

This Financial Accountant role would ideally suit candidates recently qualified from practice or industry.

Requirements:

Professional finance qualification: ACA/ACCA/CIMA
Experience within the consumer goods/retail/FMCG/manufacturing industry ideal
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels of a business
