An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to join a growing organization based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. This office-based role, offering a competitive salary of £60,000, involves leading the finance function and providing strategic financial insights to support organizational objectives. You will play a key role in financial planning, reporting, and team leadership, making this a fantastic opportunity for career growth.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:

-          Develop and execute financial strategies to align with the company’s goals, including budgeting and forecasting

-          Ensure the timely preparation of financial statements and management accounts, maintaining compliance with UK regulations

-          Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture

-          Oversee cash flow management, identifying cost-saving opportunities and improving financial efficiency

-          Act as a key advisor to senior leadership, providing insights to support informed business decisions

SKILLS REQUIRED:

-          Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with proven finance experience in a senior role

-          Strong understanding of UK financial regulations and proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. 

-          Experience with financial software, particularly Xero, and excellent analytical skills
