We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to provide support to our Leeds based manufacturing client for a 4-5 month period whilst they recruit and onboard a permanent candidate to the role. You will need to be able to start the role in the next couple of weeks.Â
Key responsibilities:
•   Prepare, review, and analyse monthly, quarterly, interim, and annual financial statements.•   Provide comprehensive financial insights and reports to the board.•   Lead the annual budgeting process, closely collaborating with department heads to monitor budget performance and provide detailed rolling forecasts.•   Manage cash flow and oversee all tax compliance activities•   Lead, develop, and support the finance team.•   Provide detailed commercial insights to support strategic initiatives.
You will be able to demonstrate:
•   Fully Qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA).•   Proficient in ERP systems, Microsoft packages, Advanced Excel, and PowerBI.•   Understanding of payroll and payroll systems to support the finance team.•   Strong leadership and team management skills.•   Proven experience working as a Financial Controller or similar.•   Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.Â
