Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller to join a well known growing business in South Leeds where you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with the FD within a Group function and you will have exposure across the wider organisation, partnering with non finance teams.
What will you be doing?
- Producing the monthly management accounts.
- Assisting with the preparation of business forecasts.
- Developing, implementing and monitoring finance policies and procedures.
- Responsible for overseeing transactional finance.
- Liaising with the external auditors.
- Identifying risks.
- Taking the lead on all HMRC submissions.
- Statutory reporting.
- Partnering with the Commercial team.
- Providing support on key projects.
What skills do we need?
- Fully qualified Accountant, ideally ACA/CIMA/ACCA /QBE.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Ideally experience within the Property/Construction sector.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience in managing a team.
