Your new companyWorking for a £60 million turnover SME business in fast and consistent growth mode, this privately-owned business is thriving and going from strength to strength and, as a result, they are looking to expand the finance team.Your new roleWorking as part of a dynamic finance function and reporting to the Financial Director, you will lead a team of 6 transactional finance staff. Responsible for accurate transactional processes, bank reconciliations, including foreign currency, purchase ledger, credit control and month-end close, you will manage and motivate your team to ensure suppliers and customer transactions are timely and up to date. Responsible for debt reporting, you will produce ad hoc reports for the FD and MD. Supporting the FD with month-end processes and financial and management reporting, VAT reports and year-end, this is an all-encompassing role with the opportunity for growth based on ongoing business performance and personal development.What you'll need to succeedYou'll be a qualified accountant and enjoy leading a financial accounting function. Hands-on, people and customer-orientated, you'll be interested in the detail, proactive with process improvement and controls. Having managed people, you will enjoy developing others and getting the best out of your team. Systems savvy you will like to develop reporting and have excellent EXCEL skills. You will have the right to work in the UK without expiry or sponsorship.
