Robert Half Finance & Accounting are looking for an Interim Financial Reporting Accountant to support a dynamic and growing company in Leeds. This interim opportunity is perfect for a professional contractor who can hit the ground running and bring their expertise to the table during a pivotal period. Key Responsibilities:As the Interim Financial Reporting Accountant, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth financial operations and reporting of the group. Your duties will include:
- Treasury Management: Oversee the Group's treasury function, including cash flow reporting, forecasting, and managing liquidity.
- Tax Compliance: Support end-to-end taxation processes, including tax audits, compliance, and project improvement initiatives.
- Audit Preparation: Assist with the annual Group audit process to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- External Relationships: Build and manage relationships with external advisors, banks, and financial institutions to support group operations.
- Group Reporting: Collaborate with the Finance Director - Group Reporting to develop the group reporting pack and management information suite.
- Insurance Management: Manage the Group's annual insurance programs and claims processes as needed.
- Policy and Risk Management: Maintain the Group Policies and Procedures document and Risk Register to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
- Project Support: Provide the wider Finance team with ad hoc project support and analysis as required, ensuring flexibility during peak periods.
What We're Looking For:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Previous interim or contract assignments, with the ability to start immediately or at short notice.
- Strong technical accounting expertise, with experience in group reporting and tax compliance.
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills to handle complex processes and deadlines.
- Excellent relationship-building capabilities to work effectively with external advisors, financial institutions, and internal teams.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, busy environment and adapt quickly to new challenges.
