We are on the hunt for a dynamic Group Finance Controller to join an ambitious and growing business, based in the Leeds city region. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a great opportunity to drive change and own the finance function within a growing private equity-backed company.This role requires someone who can show they have a vision for what a best-in-class function looks like - and how they would go and implement that vision. This is a brilliant opportunity to take a step towards a Group FD and ultimately CFO position.Â
Your objectives:
- Oversee internal and external financial reporting across multiple entities
- Manage month-end processes and statutory audits
- Drive process improvements and system automation
- Lead cash flow forecasting, tax, and VAT compliance
- Develop strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
- Lead Capex projects
What we are looking for:
- Someone with a track record of delivering change
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification
- Proven experience in Finance Controllership (or similar roles in a group setting)
- Proven leadership skills
- Passion for driving change and inspiring high-performing teams
- Solid knowledge of FRS102, tax, VAT, and audit processes
Flexibility:Â While office-based to support the transactional team, some flexibility for remote working will be offered.
