Search Recruitment Group are delighted to be supporting a well known reputable Financial Services business in Leeds to recruit a Part Qualified Management Accountant on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the UK Finance Manager you will provide technical and accounting support and produce required reports and analysis in line with the monthly and yearly accounting timetable.
You will be responsible for the management accounts submissions including detailed analysis on expense lines to ensure reporting deadlinse and submissions to Group reporting are met.
You will produce budget variance analysis for cost centre managers and consist and coordinate meetings with them. You will also maintain all UK company accruals and prepayment schedules and ensure they are reconciled to Sage accounting records. You will support in in the production of the UK budgeting and forecasting, and produce monthly financial control framework reports, as well as supporting balance sheet reconciliations.
The be considered for the role you will be actively studying towards ACCA/CIMA, and be part qualified. You will have knowledge of accounting software packages, Sage 200 would be advantageous. You will be a competent excel user (pivot tables, V&H Look ups Sum Ifs etc). You will have attention to detail and good analytical skills, as well as demonstrating excellent anaylsis and problem solving skills.
What's on offer?
Salary 33,000 - 40,000 dependant on experience, study package, hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home), On-site car parking is available + excellent benefits.
