Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000 + benefits package

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the finance function to provide timely management information and support decision-making within our client's organisation.
  • Utilise your financial reporting expertise to generate accurate and insightful monthly management accounts, meeting agreed deadlines.
  • Manage balance sheet reconciliations and month-end transactions, including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation.
  • Oversee the work of processing staff for purchase and sales ledgers, providing guidance and support when needed.
  • Prepare quarterly VAT returns for review and ensure accuracy in the company's system used for production costings, stock, and customer management.
  • Collaborate closely with department heads and the Retail Finance team to enhance financial processes and reporting.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively engage with internal stakeholders and external parties.
  • Show proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with strong keyboard skills and attention to detail.
  • Display exceptional people management and influencing skills to drive positive outcomes.
  • Embrace a solution-focused mindset and a willingness to tackle complex tasks.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection requirements when handling sensitive information.
  • Prioritise workload effectively, adhere to deadlines, and maintain an organised office environment.
