You will be a vital member of the finance team, managing the consolidation of month-end accounts and preparing management reports for the Group FD. Furthermore, you will contribute to shaping their financial strategy by assisting with budgets and forecasts.
Duties:
- Timely preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts.
- Assist with year-end audit preparations.
- Prepare month-end journals and reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly.
- Handle ad-hoc tasks as required.
- Support the commercial team by offering accurate financial forecasts and analysis to aid decision-making and strategy.
- Perform detailed analysis of profit and loss accounts.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to assess business performance and provide actionable insights for strategic decisions.
- Create financial reports and analyses with in-depth commentary.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Management Accountant/ Assistant Management Accountant.
- Qualified or Part-Qualified (must be keen to qualify) ACCA/ACA/CIMA
