Responsibilities

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and bring monthly results to trial balance stage across sales ledger, purchase ledger, and cashbook.
  • Prepare quarterly VAT returns.
  • Take full responsibility for the purchase ledger.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support twice-daily payment runs, including submission of daybook data to the funder’s portal.
  • Reconcile the funder’s ledger monthly to the internal ledger.
  • Assist the Finance Director in producing daily cashflow forecasts for Trade and Trust accounts.
  • Provide information for quarterly audits with funders.
  • Produce weekly income sweeps.
  • Handle staff expenses, including credit card reconciliations.
  • Serve as a back-up for the finance team in allocating clients’ cash.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as required.
