Description
- Working closely with accounts team on project costing and supporting head of finance
- Monitoring, analysis and review of project revenue and cost
- Assist in the development and implementation of improved project cost management and reporting.
- Ensuring data is correct and accurately input into the existing project management tool and related systems.
- Monitoring of KPIs and identification of variances
- Profitability forecasting
- Procurement lead
- ISO Support - Supporting our commitments to key quality standards such as ISO 27001 in terms of monthly reporting and annual audits
- Assist in preparation of month-end entries related to revenue and expense accruals
- Cover for Head of Finance role during absence/holidays
- Other accounting tasks as needed related to projects, month-end and year-end
Profile
- AAT Qualified, or finalist working towards qualification
- Have gained relevant experience in a similar assistant accountant, project accountant role
- Ambitious to progress
- Strong communication skills to operate well with other departments
- Open to a 4 day working week
Job Offer
- Generous Salary ranging £33,000 - £37,000 FTE
- Hybrid working (2 days in office, 2 days at home)
- Study Support in ACCA or CIMA
- 30-32 hour working week
- 30 days of annual leave + bank holidays
