Job Purpose
  • Supporting a varied client portfolio, working closely with senior accountants to ensure expectations and deadlines are met
  • Preparation of management information
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and companies
  • Preparation of corporation tax returns
  • Overseeing bank and other balance sheet reconciliations
  • Using cloud-based accounting software for bookkeeping
  • Liaising with clients, building strong rapport and proactively handling queries
  • Championing your own professional development, enthusiastically undertaking training opportunities

Job Requirements
  • ACCA / ACA / ATT qualified, part-qualified or studying
  • Qualified by experience also considered
  • Audit experience is desirable, but not essential
  • Good working knowledge of software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
  • An enthusiastic team player who can also work autonomously
  • A can-do attitude to problem-solving
  • Self-motivated and able to manage your own deadlines and workflow
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Keen to progress in the firm by undertaking further learning opportunities
