JobPurpose

  • Supporting a significant client portfolio, predominantly Limited companies with turnovers of up to c.£10m.
  • Preparation of financial statements to completion.
  • Liaising directly with clients, building trusted relationships and handling queries with a proactive approach.
  • Supervision and mentorship to junior team members, reviewing work and providing training opportunities.
  • Some work will be undertaken at clients’ premises, mostly within 15 miles of Leeds.
  • Preparation of corporate tax computations and liaising with personal tax staff.
  • Working knowledge of VAT and payroll.
  • Supporting the wider firm with ad hoc duties as needed.

Job Requirements

  • ACCA or ACA qualified, with previous experience within practice.
  • Good knowledge across accountancy systems.
  • Adept at using Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and Word.
  • Strong communication and advisory skills.
  • Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage a team’s workflow.
  • A team player able to bring out the best in others.
  • Confidently mentor junior team members, in a positive and constructive manner.
  • Able to travel to clients’ premises, typically within a 15-mile radius of Leeds.
