Sewell Wallis are partnering with a Professional Services organisation based on the outskirts of Otley who are currently recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join their team.

This role is part of the Group's long term development plan and there will be ongoing progression opportunities as the company continues to grow through acquisitions.

Ideally you will be PQ / QBE with experience of working in a fast paced environment.

What will you be doing?

  • Producing monthly management accounts for all group entities.
  • Developing the monthly reporting.
  • Overseeing the reconciliation of key control accounts.
  • Supporting the Financial Controller with the key development and implementation of the Group's Control.
  • Balance sheet reviews.
  • Assisting with the production of the monthly board pack.
  • Ad hoc finance project work.

What skills are we looking for?

  • PQ / QBE Accountant with a strong background in both financial and management accounts.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ambitious individual who is self motivated.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with senior stakeholders across the business.
