Delighted to be working with an industry leading business based in Leeds to recruit a Senior VAT Manager.
Reporting to an impressive Group Financial Controller the Senior VAT Manager will:
- Own and lead the VAT compliance framework across the Group, ensuring accurate and timely VAT reporting.
- Act as the SME for VAT matters, providing strategic and technical advice to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Develop and implement VAT strategies aligned with the Group's objectives, optimizing VAT efficiency across the business.
- Manage relationships with external advisors and HMRC.
- Prepare, review, and reconcile VAT tax journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Identify and evaluate VAT-related issues, efficiencies, and opportunities.
- Promote VAT awareness and knowledge across the business.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of tax policies and procedures.
