Role Overview:
As a Hyperion Systems Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting financial decision-making processes and providing insights to drive business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyse financial data, perform monthly forecasting, and evaluate capital expenditure initiatives.

Candidates MUST HAVE strong experience with Hyperion HFM and good exposure to the consolidation tool.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support for the Hyperion HFM Systems Accountant end users, ensuring smooth operation of regular processes.
  • Deliver regular Hyperion top-up training sessions for finance end users.
  • Serve as a liaison between finance end users and the managed service support and maintenance team to ensure proper documentation and delivery of defects and small changes.
  • Maintain system integrity and ensure appropriate user access.
  • Perform regular system health checks and assist with analysis and remediation activities.
  • Act as a liaison between finance users and the IT development team, including writing requirements for system enhancements/new builds.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline finance processes involving the Hyperion system.
  • Serve as a super user for all system functionality.
  • Lead specific system improvements and transformations, including systemizing manual processes.
  • Maintain systems and processes, including documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures, Architecture Diagrams, and Checklists.

Requirements:

  • Strong working knowledge of Hyperion HFM, specifically the consolidations tool.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Ambitious and self-motivated, with a desire to grow and take on increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Previous experience in a larger business environment is highly desirable.
