Experienced Tax and Treasury Accountant Required

Are you a certified accountant seeking a dynamic, globally focused role within finance? An opening has recently been announced for a Tax and Treasury Accountant. Reporting directly to the Group FD, the successful candidate will spearhead a range of crucial elements within the group's financial operations, from leading the group's treasury function, managing transfer pricing analysis, overseeing the UK companies' tax compliance, to streamlining and simplifying group processes.

The Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Overseeing the Group's treasury function with an emphasis on cash flow management and cash reporting.
  • Guiding transfer pricing activities from analysis to forecasting and beyond.
  • Leading the UK companies' tax compliance and aiding in the domain of overseas tax compliance.
  • Instituting group process improvements that align with the current group structure.

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with a keen ability to resolve problems efficiently. A combination of stellar commercial skills and strong communication capabilities are sought. Comfortable dealing with both internal and external stakeholders, the candidate should be proactive, capable of functioning efficiently in high-pressure situations, and adapt to changing environments, always with a focus on adding value and driving performance.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Proven experience in a finance-related role that interfaces with business.
  • Demonstrated capacity to influence management decision-making.
  • Desirable experiences include a stint in the Financial Services Industry and proficiency in simplifying processes and procedures.
  • Must be a Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA), with 2-5 years post-qualified experience.
