Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a business in Leeds who are recruiting an Accounts Assistant/Purchase Ledger to join their team. This is a part-time position in an office-based role. You will be responsible for the posting of sales and purchase invoices, bank statements, credit card statements and purchase ledger.

Location: LeedsSalary: £26,000 - £28,000 pro rataJob Type: Part-time, Permanent

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process the whole Purchase Ledger
  • Control the PO system
  • Post the banking
  • Upload and reconcile weekly sales invoices
  • Monthly reconciliation of debtors and creditors
  • Process at least one weekly payment run
  • Process one monthly payment run
  • Assist with month end tasks
  • Support the year end where necessary
  • Upload monthly invoices

You will need to demonstrate:

  • Sage experience (desirable)
  • Minimum Level 3 AAT or studying AAT (desirable)
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise work
