Our client is currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team on a contract basis.

This is a contract role for 3-6 months andis paying £12.82 per hour. This role offers majority remote working with up to 2 days in the office per month in their Leeds office.

In this role you will be working with a wider finance team to support in accounts payable, the main responsibility of this role will be to process invoices and resolve any discrepancies.

Key knowledge and responsibilities:

  • Deal with enquiries regarding payments and review statements of outstanding invoices.
  • Liaison with all the Finance Team for work allocation and ad hoc queries
  • Knowledge and experience of using of Microsoft Office, Outlook and COINS.
  • Investigates basic financial queries e.g. invoices - identifies and resolves errors / discrepancies resulting in financial calculations.
  • Maintain records.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to complete tasks to strict deadlines.
  • Experience in an Accounts Payables team.
  • Awareness of general accounting procedures.
