A dynamic and progressive organisation within Leeds, who are going through a significant period of sustained growth are seeking to add an Assistant Financial Accountant to their team. This would be the ideal role for an aspiring Financial Accountant who wants an environment where they can develop their technical skills and expertise within the field and will be recognised and rewarded as part of a supportive and growing team.

The role:

  • Assist with the production of statutory accounts in compliance with regulations
  • Ensure the organisation is compliant and up to date with all relevant financial standards and practices
  • Review coding and associated financial reporting in relation to budgets, KPIs and Statement of Accounts
  • Assist with external and internal audits
  • Liaise with Finance colleagues and colleagues from across the business to ensure delivery of corporate and financial outcomes in line with prompt deadlines

The person:

  • You will be a CCAB qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or studying towards
  • Demonstrable experience of exposure to statutory accounts
  • Be able to demonstrate effective written and presentation skills, with an ability to produce concise and meaningful reports.
