I am currently supporting the Finance department of a large logistics business based in the centre of Leeds. This role will be supporting the Nominal Accounting team on an interim basis whilst they are going through an exciting time of change.
This role will be supporting the Finance department through the busy day to day and month end by posting journals and balance sheet reconciliations and so strong experience in these areas are required. This role will be primarily working alongside Excel and so it is essential for that candidate to be familiar with V-Lookups and Pivot Tables.
Skills required
- Have strong excel skills as working on excel is a key part of the role, so someone who is familiar with V-Lookups and Pivot Tables will be key.
- Have proven experience posting journals and preforming balance sheet reconciliations enabling you to 'hit the ground running'
- Be a diligent person with an incredible eye for detail, additional be someone who is quite patient as you will need to take time ensuring your reports are accurate before processing.
- Be immediately available, or on a short notice period and be able to start quite quickly!
