Our client, a dynamic and growing organisation, is seeking a Board Assistant to join their executive team. This role is essential in providing critical support to the board, ensuring seamless coordination, and contributing to the success of the company's governance structure.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, organise, and distribute agendas, reports, and presentations for board meetings.
  • Accurately record minutes and follow up on key actions from executive meetings, ensuring effective communication of outcomes.
  • Conduct research and gather information to assist in decision-making processes.
  • Maintain organisational records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate and manage executive calendars, including scheduling high-level meetings.
  • Serve as a liaison between the board, senior management, and other departments to facilitate smooth communication.
  • Assist with special projects and provide support for governance initiatives, focusing on increasing structure and professionalism within the organisation.

Profile

Board Assistant - What We're Looking For:

  • Significant experience in a Board Assistant or similar role, supporting senior leadership or executives.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate governance and the ability to handle high-stakes, board-level responsibilities.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills, able to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • A proactive, independent worker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can introduce process improvements.
