Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, organise, and distribute agendas, reports, and presentations for board meetings.
- Accurately record minutes and follow up on key actions from executive meetings, ensuring effective communication of outcomes.
- Conduct research and gather information to assist in decision-making processes.
- Maintain organisational records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate and manage executive calendars, including scheduling high-level meetings.
- Serve as a liaison between the board, senior management, and other departments to facilitate smooth communication.
- Assist with special projects and provide support for governance initiatives, focusing on increasing structure and professionalism within the organisation.
Profile
Board Assistant - What We're Looking For:
- Significant experience in a Board Assistant or similar role, supporting senior leadership or executives.
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance and the ability to handle high-stakes, board-level responsibilities.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills, able to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- A proactive, independent worker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can introduce process improvements.
