Veritas Education is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Exam Invigilators to support schools across Kirklees during the exam periods. This is a flexible, part-time role, ideal for candidates looking for temporary work in a school environment.

As an Exam Invigilator, you will ensure that exams are conducted under strict regulations, providing students with a calm and controlled setting to perform at their best.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setting up exam rooms, distributing papers, and ensuring conditions meet exam board standards
  • Supervising students to prevent malpractice and ensure fairness
  • Assisting with the collection and secure handling of exam scripts
  • Providing guidance to students and addressing any queries according to exam regulations
  • Reporting any irregularities or issues to the Exams Officer
Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain focused for long periods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions carefully
  • Previous experience in an invigilating or educational role is beneficial but not essential (training provided)
  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
