Programme Support Officer

Up to £20.50 per hour (umbrella rate, inside IR35)

Contract to start asap until May 2025

An exciting 5 month contract opportunity has arisen for a Programme Support Officer to join a dynamic public sector organisation As a Programme Support Officer, you will play a vital role in managing schemes and programmes that form part of the training and fellowship portfolio. This is a fantastic chance to contribute to the development and make a real impact in this organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Senior Programme Managers and Programme Managers in managing training schemes and programmes.
  • Support the development and implementation of administrative processes to manage applications.
  • Manage the advertising of schemes and negotiate cost-effective spending.
  • Draft and revise application forms and guidance notes.
  • Act as the first point of contact for inquiries related to the schemes.
  • Coordinate and organise meetings, workshops, and conferences.
  • Provide general support to the Senior Programme Managers and Programme Managers

Requirements:

  • Experience within a senior administrative role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage a complex workload.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and use of the internet.
