We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to join our client’s team. In this field-based role, you will be responsible for servicing, supporting, and growing existing key customer accounts, as well as developing new business opportunities. You will play a crucial role in driving a bespoke business pipeline and securing projects of all sizes.

Key Responsibilities for a Key Account Manager

  • Service, visit, support, and grow existing key customer accounts.
  • Develop new business opportunities within your assigned territory.
  • Drive the bespoke business pipeline by identifying and pursuing tender opportunities.
  • Conduct high-level negotiations and understand the correlation between sales and margin.
  • Conduct face-to-face appointments with top-tier customers to understand their business needs.
  • Provide regular and accurate market and customer feedback to the business.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and communicate essential information to customers.
  • Deliver confident and engaging presentations to small and large groups.
  • Link marketing campaigns to specific customer needs.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity.

Key Skills for a Key Account Manager

  • Proven experience in key account management or a similar sales role
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Experience in a B2B sales position
