Are you a design engineer with experience within the solar PV or renewable sector looking for your exciting next opportunity?

This company specialise in the design and installation of ground mount and commercial rooftop solar systems to a large portfolio of clients based all over the UK. They have very close links to the oldest renewable energy company in the UK and have built a very strong reputation within the commercial solar industry which has led them to an exciting period of growth.

In this role you will work alongside the design team to create CAD designs of commercial PV and battery storage systems that are in line with project specifications. You will work alongside other departments in the business to deliver technical support to sub contractors during the installation phase to ensure successful project completion.

The ideal candidate will have experience within the Solar/Renewables sector, have experience using PVsol, PV Syst and CAD. Oustanding communication skills are essential in this role alongside excellent knowledge of MS office. Desirable aspects would include google sheets knowledge and Hubspot CRM experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced design engineer from the Solar PV or Renewables sectors to enjoy a new challenge moving forward supporting commercial grade solar projects.

The Role:
* Manage and complete design packages for project proposals from clients (Including tenders)
* Complete grid connection applications, connection surgeries and engaging with DNOs throughout the project.
* Working on PVsol and PVsyst to complete designs to a exceptional standards.
* Undertake initial yield assessments of potential solar sites alongside data analysis to distinguish array size and layout.
* Office based in Leeds.

The Person:
* BSc in Electrical or Renewable energy Engineering
* Experience within Solar PV industry and experienced using PVsol and PVsyst.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of Hubspot CRM and Google sheets is desirable.
* Located in or commutable to Leeds office.
