Installation Engineer – £32,000 - £40,000 depending on experience – Yeadon, Leeds

The Role

Are you a skilled engineer with hands-on experience in installing complex equipment? Do you thrive in dynamic environments where precision and collaboration are key? If so, we are seeking an Installation Engineer to join our team.

In this role, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality installations of sterilizers, steam generators, washer disinfectors, and associated systems across healthcare, life sciences, and pharmaceutical sites. This role involves frequent travel and overnight stays, with work primarily conducted on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Installation:

  • Install and integrate sterilizers, steam generators, and washer disinfectors to the highest standards.
  • Conduct pre-installation checks and ensure readiness for installation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other trades.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Perform risk assessments and address any identified hazards before commencing work.
  • Ensure all installations comply with company standards and industry regulations.

Preparation and Reporting:

  • Review project documentation to understand requirements before arriving on-site.
  • Complete job sheets, time logs, and other necessary documentation accurately and promptly.

Equipment Care:

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles, ensuring they are in good working order.
  • Report faults or maintenance needs to your line manager.
