Stafforce are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer to join a growing team in Leeds, within this role you will be repairing a range of heavy plant machinery. This is a Field Service role, so you will be expected to go to client's sites to complete PPMs and reactive maintenance.
What to Expect:
- Diagnose, repair, and test equipment
- Document work performed and report any unresolved issues
- Flexibility with working hours, including occasional work outside standard hours, paid at 1.5x
- Receive instructions electronically (written and verbal) via a handheld PDA during breakdowns
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and ensure safe working practices
- Communicate with Supervisor/Manager regarding additional work and obtain authorisation before proceeding
What We Need:
- Experience in servicing plant and equipment within industrial and/or construction settings
- Valid clean driving license
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, engines, electrics, and fault diagnosis
- Experience with main dealers is highly advantageous
- Ability to maintain high standards of quality and discipline
- Effective communication skills to address vehicle concerns directly with customers when necessary
