Based out of Leeds makes it accessible from surrounding town and cities including Huddersfield, Bradford, Wakefield, Barnsley, and York.
Key Responsibilities of the Installation Engineer:
- Working from engineering drawings and schematics
- Staying away from home for up to 2 weeks at a time
- Client training and handover
- Final inspection (Site Acceptance Testing - SAT)
- On-site assembly (across the UK and Europe)
- Dismantling, packing, and shipping
- Testing (Factory Acceptance Testing - FAT)
- Mechanical assembly
- 50% on site travel- Work in a small team of 3 engineers to install systems
- 50% Workshop Based- Assemble and fit brand-new HVAC containment systems
Working Hours of the Installation Engineer
- Monday to Thursday- 07:30 to 16:00
- Friday- 07:30 to 13:30
- Overtime available and a requirement to work away, occasionally abroad, all paid at a premium
Minimum Skills / Experience Required:
- Previous mechanical fitting, assembly, or installation experience in FMCG, pharma, or processing machinery.
- Installation experience with steel panels, filters, fans, or sensors onto machinery or equipment.
- Prior site installation experience is essential.
- International travel experience (valid passport required).
- Containment experience (desirable).
- Ability to work from drawings.
- Willingness to work away from home up to 30% of the time.
- Motivated and an excellent team player.
- Able to commute to the Leeds area with own transport.
In Return, the Installation Engineer will receive:
- Starting salary range: £40,000 to £45,000 per annum OTE £60K
- Stay away allowance: £30 (UK) / £35 (abroad).
