A talented Architect with excellent front end design capabilities is required to join an award winning RIBA Chartered Practice to spearhead the design & delivery of various high end bespoke residential projects based from their semi-rural studio in North Leeds, LS17.
Our established client are a medium sized RIBA chartered practice with a reputation for high quality design work in the north of England, they are known primarily for sensitive housing projects, large private houses and bespoke high end renovations and restorations. The practice have recently moved into a new open plan studio space which is located in the grounds of a very popular stately home which is a superb rural setting the practice are fortunate to call home.
They now require a versatile Architect with circa 3-5 years post qualification experience (more or less precise experience will be considered) who has proven design capabilities to join their friendly practice to assist in the delivery of various Residential Projects through Yorkshire and the North East of England.
The majority of these commissions are high value bespoke dwellings of a new build nature often up to several million pounds in value. A large proportion of the immediate work is at the front end design stages 0-2, therefor required is someone who has previous experience of taking projects through the planning stages and being able to adapt and design a suitable client brief.
The role will include working across all RIBA work stages but predominantly 0-2 initially, candidates should possess the all-round skills required to successfully take a project from design development to completion. The right candidate will be comfortable working both within a team on large scale projects, and on their own under smaller contracts and be able to demonstrate excellent presentation and communication skills, good client facing and job running capabilities.
Architects should be fully conversant with AutoCAD ,with the ability to integrate with strict QA procedures. Working knowledge of ArchiCAD, Sketch Up and freehand sketch skills would be desirable.
Salary is negotiable based on suitability and experience between 37,000 - 42,000 per annum plus workplace pension, 25 days holiday and the option of flexible working hours to include 1 day WFH per week. Free staff parking is also available.
