Architectural Technologist

We are currently seeking an Architectural Technologist or Senior Architectural Technologist to join our team in Leeds. This role offers the opportunity to engage in detailed design at various stages of a wide variety of projects, including Passivhaus, Zero-Carbon, and Heritage projects. Our recent relocation to the heart of Leeds city has spurred a need for skilled individuals to support our growth and contribute to our diverse portfolio which includes heritage and conservation projects, residential buildings, PBSA, and commercial developments.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Engage in detailed design processes for a variety of projects at different stages.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure design specifications are met.
- Utilise BIM software effectively to create accurate architectural models and drawings.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical insights.
- Ensure all projects adhere to environmental and architectural standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist.
- Proficient in 3D modelling using BIM software; ArchiCAD experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Strong understanding of architectural design and documentation.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and deliver to deadlines.
- Interest in sustainable design practices like Passivhaus and Zero-Carbon solutions.
