Salary: £37-42,000 dependent on experience
I am excited to be recruiting for a RIBA Chartered Architectural Practices who's over 80 years of experience ensure that they deliver forward thinking, inspiring and high quality designs through sectors such as residential, education and healthcare. Their diverse portfolio spans small to large scale projects as well as interior design, urban design and masterplanning. With exciting growth plans they are seeking a passionate Building Regulations Principal Designer to join their friendly team in Harrogate. The successful Building Regulations Principal Designer will have a passion for delivering high quality designs, be a confident user of Revit and AutoCAD and have through knowledge of current building regulations in order to ensure compliance in the designs.
Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Building Regulations Principal Designer:
- Architectural background
- extensive experience working within an Architectural Practice
- Either be ARB Architect, or qualified Architectural technologist
- Through knowledge of up to date Building regulations is essential
- Plan, manage and monitor all design work during the design stage of a project
- Ensure all design is compliant with building regulations
- Job running / project lead experience
- Coordinate with all members of the design team ensure design elements are compliant
- Proven record working on residential, education and healthcare sectors
- Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD
- Strong communication skills
- Work well within a team
- Live locally to the Leeds area.
