Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you will be a key part of the design and delivery team, leading projects across all RIBA stages:
- Manage projects from concept through to completion, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
- Work directly with clients and lead design and technical meetings.
- Produce detailed planning, tender, and construction drawing packages.
- Oversee site meetings, liaising with contractors and sub-contractors throughout construction.
- Ensure all work complies with current UK Building Regulations and sustainability standards.
- Embrace and utilise the latest BIM and design software (experience with Vectorworks or willingness to train supported).
- Contribute to mentoring and guiding junior team members.
About You
You'll be a confident and technically skilled Senior Architectural Technologist with:
- 5-10 years of UK-based experience, ideally in a job-running or senior technical role.
- Strong technical knowledge and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Solid understanding of the planning process, UK building regulations, and modern construction methods.
- Proficiency in BIM-compatible software (Vectorworks experience is ideal, though training can be provided).
- Outstanding communication and team leadership skills.
- A genuine passion for sustainable architecture and environmentally responsible design.
