BDM Recruitment are seeking a part-time Mortgage Administrator to join a small, independent mortgage broker firm based on the outskirts of Leeds. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, gaining valuable experience in the mortgage industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mortgage Application Processing: Efficiently process mortgage applications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
  • Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, lenders, solicitors, and estate agents to keep them updated on application progress.
  • Document Management: Organize and maintain accurate records, including client files, correspondence, and financial documents.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing emails.
  • Compliance Adherence: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a mortgage administration or similar role is preferred
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
