What you'll actually be doing:

  • Owning the Purchase Ledger - Keeping things accurate, up-to-date, and under control.
  • Leading a team - Because great teams don't build themselves. You'll recruit, train, and develop people to be the best they can be.
  • Fixing problems before they become disasters - Supplier queries, reconciliation headaches, cash flow hiccups… You'll handle them.
  • Making processes better - Nobody likes inefficiency. You'll find ways to streamline, automate, and improve how we work.
  • Keeping suppliers happy - Because no one likes late payments, and strong relationships matter.
  • Reporting like a pro - Using data to give finance and leadership the insights they need.

What do you need?

  • Experience leading an Accounts Payable team (you've done this before).
  • A sharp eye for detail and a knack for fixing broken processes.
  • The ability to juggle competing priorities without dropping the ball.
  • A way with people - you'll need to influence, collaborate, and manage stakeholders.
  • A solid understanding of finance systems and reporting tools.
