We're looking for a dedicated finance professional to take on the role of Purchase Ledger Clerk in the amazing city of Leeds! In this role you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills in Purchase Ledger around an experienced team of financial experts.
Day to day you will be expected to carry out such roles as process purchase invoices and match with delivery note and purchase order, reconcile supplier statements, raise and resolve invoice queries, inputting data onto Sage projects, assist with stock control and liaise with suppliers and the operations team. You will also be tasked with general admin and telephone duties, promoting a positive image of the company and following company policies and procedures.
If this sounds like a role that would suit you, you will need the following to be considered:
* AAT Level 2 and/or demonstrate previous experience in a purchase ledger role.* At least 2 years of Purchase Ledger experience.* Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to processes.* Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills.* Experience using accounting software packages, preferably Sage.* Proficient in Microsoft programs, strong excel skills.* Ability to work well within a team and independently* An enthusiastic and proactive attitude must be reliable and committed to consistently meeting deadlines.* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
