Our client is looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team based in Leeds.
To be successful in this role you will have experience in Purchase Ledger with a passion and desire to succeed.
The role will be varied but duties will include:
- Responsibility for over 200 live supplier accounts both in the UK and overseas.
- Matching and coding invoices.
- Posting invoices with multiple currencies.
- Matching estimates on an internal system.
- Processing 300 - 400 invoices per week.
- Allocating payments.
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.
- Involvement in the new supplier account process and maintaining existing supplier account details within purchase ledger.
- Monitoring the Purchase Ledger email inbox.
- Resolving queries.
- Liaising with internal departments to follow up on invoices.
- Managing inbound calls from suppliers.
- Scheduling supplier payments and assisting with monthly payment runs.
About you
- Systems experience, ideally SAGE and WAP purchase order system.
- Ability to manage own workload and prioritise effectively.
- High volume purchase ledger skills.
- Keen eye for detail.
- Good computer skills including Excel and Word.
- Team player who can also manage their own workload.
This is a fully office based tole and working hours are usually Monday to Friday 8.30 - 5pm.
