Bookkeeper required. My client is a well-established firm of accountants based in Leeds, who are seeking a bookkeeper to join their team due to recent growth. With nearly 50 years' experience in the trade, my client has grown from a small start-up to a well-respected firm with clients all over the UK.

Bookkeeper Job Overview- General bookkeeping duties
- Preparation and finalisation of VAT returns
- Payroll
- Preparing and submitting CIS returns
- Liaising with clients regarding all aspects of the above
- Manage your own workload and all submissions
Suitable candidates will have previous experience in an accountancy practice, including payroll and will be AAT L3 qualified.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with payroll, bookkeeping, VAT and CIS
- Must be competent and confusing using cloud technology
- Experience using Xero, Dext, Capium, Sage Payroll
- £28,000-£35,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
- 4 weeks holiday plus bank holidays
- Four day working week - Monday to Thursday (34.5 hours per week)
