Production Operative

Thrive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting a Production Operator to join our clients dynamic team in North Leeds . The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.

Duties

• Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Assemble wooden products using hand tools and power tools, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment for maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise, utilising mechanical knowledge to resolve problems effectively.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a production or warehouse environment is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying issues.
• Flexibility to work shifts as needed, including potential overtime during peak periods.
