Caretaker Opportunity
Goddard Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking school for the role of Caretaker. This role is based in LS25 and is temporary, but could be permanent for the right candidate. The role has an immediate start, all applicants must have a valid enhanced DBS registered on the update service.
This essential position involves ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the school premises. The caretaker will be responsible for key holding, DIY and basic repairs, maintaining external areas, cleaning, and other duties to support the schools daily functioning.
The Role:
This position is a full-time, temporary role with the following hours:
- Monday to Friday: 7:00 am 11:00 am and 2:30 pm 6:00 pm
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has experience in caretaking or premises management
- Possesses practical DIY and basic repair skills
- Is organised, reliable, and proactive
- Communicates effectively and thrives in a collaborative environment
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and clean environment for staff and students
