Site Superintendent

Salary: £13.47 per hour

The Primary School is seeking a dedicated Site Superintendent to join our committed team. The role involves maintaining school premises to a high standard, ensuring cleanliness, routine maintenance, health and safety, minor repairs, and leading a small team of cleaners. This position is ideal for candidates who are highly motivated, focused on the best outcomes for children, attentive to detail, and capable of leading and directing a team.

Day to Day of the role:

Work under the direction of the Headteacher and Facilities and Estates Manager to maintain school premises.
Ensure high standards of cleanliness and routine maintenance.
Oversee health and safety compliance and conduct minor repairs.
Lead and direct a small team of cleaners.
Collaborate with staff and external agencies to support the school’s operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
Energy and enthusiasm for the role and its challenges.
A commitment to continuing professional development.
Experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential.
